We are going to be offering some of out "track enhancement technologies" pre assembled and will also be making plans available for those who would like to fabricate their own!
The first item I'll be ready to start shipping are the track risers with built in leveling that are like the ones I made for the league races. Some of the features:
The second item are just leveling devices without the riser. I also have lots of levelers made and ready for shipping. They are available in various track lane configurations. Just like the levelers on the risers these can be easily adjusted with a screw driver while looking at the level(s) from above.
The final item are the skirts, which are getting final touches to the design of the storage/transport bag. There is an area at the top - before the curve that is a wide white strip for putting your own logos/Pack numbers/sponsors/winners list/ etc on. We are using the ink-jet T-shirt transfers to put images on the cloth. The Skirts fit the risers. . . imagine that! There was a skirt on the track at BGN - I didn't get it put up right - I was supposed to over lap a half square on each section to keep things all aligned. . . I'll be moving the velcro before the next races with that track. The skirts come in two types of pieces: Top section for curve and 7 foot straight sections. Currently we have some of the top sections for the Best Track curve with risers. If you want we can also match the Challenger curve. If I borrow Slow Steve's track we could match the curve of the tracks from Micro Wizard too. . . . To make your own all you need is someone willing to follow directions and who can sew!
The first item I'll be ready to start shipping are the track risers with built in leveling that are like the ones I made for the league races. Some of the features:
- Raises the track almost 2 feet off the floor to greatly improve race visibility.
- Allows you to level the track in all directions.
- Greatly improves transport and storage of the track by providing a wood surface for the next track section to stack on!
- Attached once and then you don't have to keep taking them off and putting them on each time you set up the track.
- Available in any width. . . minimum size that nice on a 3 lane track but will work fine on a one or 2 lane track too.
- Allows for easy leveling of the track with a simple screw driver while standing above the track looking at the level(s).
