It's about that time again.
The race is less than 2 weeks away (December 9th).
Is anybody working on anything new for this month, or are you still trying to squeeze a little more out of this years cars like I am?
You guys who haven't raced for a while, get your cars out, dust them off, give them a good lube job and alignment, and put them in the mail.
Remember to ship them to:
Warren Kalsow 848 Greening Dr. Apple Valley, MN 55124
Good luck to all racers.
Phil
PS: Has anybody seen Scott lately? I was expecting to see some pictures of Bambi's daddy.

I will be sending in 4 cars in December. Nothing new, just the old faithfuls !! Waiting until January to send in my new ones. I'd like to see all the racers who have participated this year send in 1 or 2 (or more) cars for the last race of PWDRACINGS inaugural season !! Send out the first season with a bang !! Also any new racers out there who have been thinking about sending in a car, now is the time !! League racing is a lot of fun and you won't be disappointed !! I agree Phil, I think Scott is MIA !! I figure the wildlife population in Minnesota is down by 25% or Scott is just suffering from a little pinewood derby burnout !! Lucky 13

What a great inaugural season it was!! Started out with 28 cars in january and had a high of 75 cars in July.
For the last race of the season, wouldn't it be great if everyone sent in all the cars that they raced throughout the year? What a field that would be, the competition would be unbelievable!!
I, personally, am going to try try to get all the cars I raced this year ready for the december PWD race. Including those that I sent to PWD, and Wirl. They may not be real fast, especially those from early in my building career, but it sure will be fun to watch some of them run.

Three of mine are already there, and I'll be sending at least two more, and maybe 4 more -- nothing new though. It will be a great last race of the year. Good luck to all.

Thanks Lucky, I want to paint my Pro mod for 08 to match a set of red rsn wheels. I bought these blue wheels from pinewood extreme and they were already blue. Has anyone ever dyed there own wheels? I have a few sets of rsn's and ssn's on the way from Racerx, Id like to dye a set or two. The colortron option is awesome (I just have to try it myself now). Good luck in December, I hope that PWD and WIRL continue to grow.

I sent my 3 cars in today.
I tuned them a little different this month, so we'll have to see what happens.
Everyone needs to allow a little longer for shipping this month, because of the Christmas mail rush.
Good luck this month to all racers.

Put 2 in the mail early Monday & 2 early Tuesday. Hope they make it in time. Also, when I punched Warren's zip code into the stamp machine, it said St. Paul not Apple Valley. Hope thats not an issue.
Good racing everybody.

I'm back! Miss the warm weather - nice to be greated by the snow. . . the 10 mile ride from the airport to the house took half the time of the flight from sunny Phoenix!!!! Can anyone say rush hour with snow storm? It was very nice to have the daughter come and pick us up though! As far as the city's name change that's normal, Apple Valley is a suburb of Saint Paul and the USPS likes to convert it. So far we have boxes from: 44001, 07760, 89133, 47408, 53515, 01775, 77379 I got the 500 photos and the two videos done for the photo frame "the kids" gave for the 90th b-day party in Phoenix so I will have some time to catch up with things - - I hope! BTW, if you are in need of a great gift idea for "the older generation" person who seems to have everything and no space for anything new, I will highly recommend the digital photo fame option.

The final count from ProQuest: 5. That is if the overnight delivery makes it to Warren tomorrow -- I mean today -- as it is scheduled to do. Three are already there. 2 more on their way -- a limited and a stock.
Whatdoyaguys think -- will we end the year with a big turn out? Whatever the turn out, the racing will be fast and fun. Looking forward to talking with you all on Sunday. The race is Sunday isn't it??? Later.

Steve, hope your cars make it ok. I think it is shaping up to be a really good turnout. 10 cars between you and me, 3 for Phil, 4 for Lucky, 1 for Tory, 4 for Dwayne, and 1 for docb.
So if my math is correct, that adds up to..............alot of cars from 7 builders. Can't wait.
Can someone refresh my memory where we have to go and at what time tomorrow?
