This moment brings different emotions. I'm kinda sad that the building is over (this was a very fun adventure), yet glad that now the racing can begin! ;D See ya Scott Beakerboys Great looking HR Scott, I know exactly what you mean. Just got back from the P.O. 12 cars that I can't work on until I get to Kentucky Very nice Mod & Stocker Grubartez. 3cubdad, what a coincidence, I have a car that looks just like that one See everybody this weekend

Well I was sitting on the couch Monday night and started having PINEWOOD WITHDRAWL. You see I had already finished all the cars and they were prepped and lubed and ready to go. So I got up and got on the board and saw 3Cubs post about the condition of his stock car or lack of it and I thought to myself, "let's see if I can build another car". So I scrounged up some weight and a an extra block and went to whittling. Now call me crazy for taking on another build this close to the race but I just had to see if i could do it. Don't know how she will fair against DocB but she seems pretty fast. Meet TEMPEST: Now for my Grandmother moment. You know when your Grandmother would tell all of kids she wants us in front of the Christmas tree for a family photo. And we grumbled and complained and even stuck you tongue out when she snapped the picture just to antagonize her for interrupting you from the football game that was on. Well, I had to get all my my kids together for a family shot. This is the line up for BGN from my crew: Just a couple of more days till the race and I'm pretty excited. I hope everyone has a safe trip and good luck at the race! See ya Saturday Scott Beakerboys

Hey Scott, I have to give you a great big THANK YOU! You see, my wife's been teasing me a little about bringing the 8 cars, (yep, finished the stocker last night! I'll put up a pic tonight), and about how she hasn't really seen me at night for the last 3 weeks, and questioning if I'd gone off my rocker... (the juries still out on that one) Tonight, when I get home, I get to show her the pics of your stable and say, "SEE, you thought I was bad? " ;D ;D ;D ;D Seriously, guy, that is an AWESOME collection! See you this weekend! Steve

That's some serious pine you got there Scott. They all look fantastic. If I had built that many, I'd be a single man by now. Hats off to your wife for her patience. ;D I finished re-tuning my stocker today and everything is all packed up and ready to go. Somehow the front wheel had gotten slightly warped/bent . I switched it out with a new one and the times fell right back into place. See everyone tomorrow, we should roll into town around 5 or 6.

We're only bringin' 5, but the Mrs. thought we'd gone off the deep end (well, truth be told I'm also workin' on some new Door Slammr's for PDDR, going through Scout Wood Badge training, fall recruitment, etc.). That is quite the stable. We usually end up building about 15 every Scout season (2 each for boys, 1 each for siblings, mom, etc., half dozen for dad ), but not quite on the "beaker" scale. Prolific, you certainly are. See ya Friday! Bubba p.s. Gotta duck outta work this afternoon and tune the cars before Scout orientation tonight. Still don't have the wheels on the HR66 yet. Is this bad?

Scott, What a awesome looking line-up Hats off to you & yours. That picture with them all together parked on their blocks is suitable for framing. I must also give you a big thank you as well. The wonderful Mrs says' "HOW MANY CARS ARE YOU BRINGING?" Then I say, But, but, but, look at how many cars Beaker is bringing". You da man. Cya all soon & be safe in your travels

Hey Beak, if my eyes ain't failin' me, I count 27 cars there on the table. You gotta have one BIG pile of sawdust, and purtty deeeeeep pockets for the entry fees. Do you sleep at night?
After that prolific build, I bet you go into some sort of withdrawl after the Bluegrass ;D
Some of them cars got some pretty snazzy wheels on 'em too. I like 'em...
Later...

I have to vote for my favorite. I think Venom, and Havoc are 2 of the best looking cars that Ive seen in a long time. Great job on the paint jobs. They all look awesome. Ive seen those wheels somewhere before......

I hope I do well and I have to go see the doctor for a remedy for the PINEWOOD WITHDRAWL. No more builds till Scout season next year, just going to play with these for a while.

Hey Beak: You the 5th What a line up!!!!...I want to know your secret for turning 24 hours in a day to 48....No that's a Speed tip! I agree with Doc on the vote....with Bubblicious and Shimmer a close second for innovative design. I let you know how the Tapp'n goes after the BGN for me. I have not perfected it as you have but I think I like it! Good Luck To All BGN Racers! ;D Sorry I can't be there personally to meet my fellow Pine Heads! It's hard to believe the BGN is finally here! Congrats to Lucky and all others who have contributed their time, energy and resources to help make a first class event! The Race Officials will be Styling! You can't miss'm! I want here that Khouse Grove all the way up North! ;D GC
