OK racers, looks like I'm in with 4 -- two Limited, one stocker and a brand new big axled modified. Actually, the modified is not quite finished, but I'm close enough that I can safely say they all will be in the mail (by express overnight delivery) on Thursday. I would have finished the mod sooner, but my doctor says I have a deficiency of STRESS in my life, so I waited til the last minute . . . again.
Can't wait for Sunday. Good luck to all who take part.
ProQuest/Steve H.
P.s. I want to again extend a warm "welcome aboard" to all those who are new to PWDRacing -- both the seasoned builder/racers and those new to proxy racing. I'm predicting 80 cars this month. And like Bubba says: "Go Nautical Wheeler."

Cant wait to see your new mod Steve. I think Ol' Parrot might have NW running smooth this month. I like it when guys can laugh at themselves. Ill try and be on board for the live feed but no cars still. Good luck to everyone. Oh yeah, Lucky 13, Ill have those stencils ready soon and ship them out for the Lima door prizes. I have some new designs Ive been working on. ]

Hey Doc: Thanks for the kind words, but the new car is really nothing to write home about. It looks pretty much just like all my other ones, except it's a burnt red color and has outlaw wheels. Hopefully, it will run better than it looks. Send in a car already. Later. ProQuest/Steve H.

My three cars were mailed express today...limited, 2-pro stock. GBD was damaged heavily during mail in to wirl. After repairing, it just does not run the same. As I was getting ready to box it up last night, I decided to weigh it again....to my surprise, I was way heavy. The epoxy had pushed it over the limit. With the tungsten, I had to drill holes thru wood and cover with tape. Bottom line is it's ugly with a capital U!!
Good Luck to all this weekend.

Well, starting to get ready for Lima, made a few changes to a few cars to start getting ready. I converted Dune Buggy to needles, Dum Dum to a Stock car and put some different wheels on Lemon Drop. Only problem is I haven't had time to track test them yet - should be interesting to see how they will do.
I got all the cars that were sent to me checked in today - looks to be another great race!

Hey Scott, any idea if mine made it, made sure to send in plenty of time this time.
Just curious, but roughly how many cars are we looking at so far?

Yes, your cars made it Parrot.
So far it looks like we will have about 65-70 cars. It depends on how many live racers show up though.

Scott, Good luck today on your conversions. The one that is very intriguing to me is the change to needles on Dune Buggy.
Good luck to all the racers today
