???Any one hear what's going on in GA at the Peachtree?
Let's see I'll try to remember some of the wins. Adult class: Pure Stock: 1st- ME ;D Rookie Stock: 1st & 2nd- two new guys to WIRL from Virginia. I think they were Odie racing and WE racing(SAPCAR.com for more info) Pro stock: 1st & 2nd - ricerocket 3rd- ME ;D Modified: 1st- Ricerocket, my son had the second fastest average but he was in the PEE WEE class (so he got 1st also ;D). Overall it was okay but, the race last year was better. They only gave a trophy for 1st place and paper certificates for 2nd & 3rd Also, they decided to just use the top three averages from each class in all age groups to determine the overall top three winners instead of letting the top three race from each age group to see if anyone could improve on their times(bummer). They advertised they would have food and drink but, that didn't happen. And the 1st place trophies were a lot smaller this year. I know this sounds pretty negative but, it's the truth. When you attend the previous years race and it's very successful you can't help but expect the BAR to be raised a little (or at least stay at the same level)the next time. However, I do appreciate WIRL holding the race since all the others are SOOOOO far away. This one is 31 miles away. HDR

Scott, Did both my packages arrive? Tracking only shows 1 pkg being delivered. It shows 2nd pkg being shipped from home post office but shows nothing else beyond that. If only 1 made it was it my cars or my kids? Thanks Bob
I received both packages - all 4 cars are here.
I think sometimes the tracking doesn't show right. Last month shipping Da Pine's cars back, one of his packages showed that it went to the dead letter office but he actually received it. Strange
Thanks Scott. I just checked again and it still shows only 1 pkg delivered. Wonder why they charge for confirmation service when they don't update it right.

Hey Hyperdrive, nice job. I see a lot of ;D. Wish we could have made it.
Are they going to have video of the event?
Sorry to hear the turn out was so so. Maybe due the economy for some. As for the people who put on these live events, it always seems like it's hit or mis when it comes to attendance. It still has to be a lot of work just putting it all together. And for that, I need to say "thank you"
Just getting ready to head down to Warren's church. Looks like we will have more cars than last month. Should be a lot of fun again! A number of new or first PWD event cars this month - The cars look great guys!
