I try to have things going by 1:30 PM CENTRAL time. We like racing to start by 2:00PM - someday we will be there! ;D Scott will be busy training me on the aspects of the new division. . . . We are thinking of switching to SATURDAYs to better fit schedules of the families. . . opinions?

I know what you mean Parrot. But looks can be deceiving. I've built cars where everything looked perfect, and they still didn't run well. So, you might be surprised at how well your stocker does. We don't have long now to find out. Later.

Steve, my new stocker is going to be very disappointing, I think. You know how sometimes something just doesn't look right? I am just happy to be racing and cannot wait until sunday. It sounds like we are going to have alot of cars, that is awesome. I had that same uneasy feeling going on with my stocker (The Mad Bumper, re-modeled) while taping the box shut also. Like Steve said though, we don't have long to find out. I went ahead & started on a new one for next month just in case.

Like Steve said though, we don't have long to find out... You guys can lump us in with the "uneasy" Stocker crowd. First car we've ever built (modified, actually) to these specs and with the lightened wheels. Not sure what to expect, so take it easy on us first-timers... All I can say is that if it doesn't run much faster than our previous setup we may just box up the tools and switch to golf Well, after the Big Rig race is over, that is. I think we need to squeeze that one in regardless...

Hey Maxx: I remember "Lich" with lightened wheels at WIRL. That thing was lightning fast. If your Stock entry is even close to that the rest of us are in trouble. As for golf -- I love the game, but since I started proxy racing six months ago I have sorely neglected my clubs. Won't hurt my game though -- no way I could ever get any worse. Tim, sorry to hear you won't be taking part on Sunday. Unless I'm mistaken, you've had great success in this class at PDDR. I was kinda thinking that you're the guy to beat in "Stock." The rest of us will have to wait until August to see how we measure up. In the meantime, good luck in whatever you are up to, and take care. Less than 48 hours to race time. The butterflies have started. Any predictions? Oh, that probably should be another thread. Later all. ProQuest/Steve H.

Less than 48 hours to race time. The butterflies have started. Any predictions? Oh, that probably should be another thread. ProQuest/Steve H. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that 234 will be tough to beat in the new stock class also. In limited will be too close to call. Probably 234 but was awful competitive last month. The rest will be too tough to predict because I am not sure if Wheeler will be there or not. If he is there then the nod will have to go to him until someone proves otherwise. Good Luck to all Sunday!

Scott, Did both my packages arrive? Tracking only shows 1 pkg being delivered. It shows 2nd pkg being shipped from home post office but shows nothing else beyond that. If only 1 made it was it my cars or my kids? Thanks Bob

If only 1 made it was it my cars or my kids? Thanks Bob I received both packages - all 4 cars are here. I think sometimes the tracking doesn't show right. Last month shipping Da Pine's cars back, one of his packages showed that it went to the dead letter office but he actually received it. Strange
