Hey folks, As we enter into the district race season, I'd be interested in hearing how many cars are attempting to run with the full sized wheel weights. If this is a common point of confusion, it might be helpful to send out a clarifying communication before the council race.

I know that nobody from our Pack will be using them at districts. Since they are fairly new and somewhat complicated to attach, I'd be surprised to see anyone at districts using them. However, on second thought, the level of sophisticated builds and pinewood derby knowledge in the NSC has dramatically increased over the past couple years, so maybe we will see some cars with them.

Full sized weights that block the inspection of the interior of the wheel would be reason for disqualification.
From what I can tell via web images, the half circle puma weights would work if the body is thin enough to allow inspection via the top of the car.
