The NSC rules conversation got me thinking about potential improvements to the league too. Here are a few thoughts.
1. Create a class that is identical to the NSC rules. IMO, we can just replace the Limited class with the NSC rules class.
2. Break the league year out into two series. The first goes from January to June (6 months). The second goes from July to October (4 months). I really like the "set" concept so we can keep that giving us 3 sets for the first series and 2 sets for the second. Actually, there are multiple ways to break it up, but the idea is to catch people after the scouting season is ending with a new series so people interested in more racing after the scout season don't need to start in the middle of the series with no chance to win.
3. It seems the national leagues also race at the end of the month. So, change the PWDR rhythm to the beginning or middle of the month to have less chance of conflicting with the national races.
What else?

Don't everybody speak at once! :-)
I've been thinking about another idea, but it may present more challenges to implement. I think it would be great to somehow separate the adult league racers from the kids. Particularly during the January - June period when kid participation is the highest. I don't think this necessarily has to be in the form of a separate class or separate race either. Maybe just race the cars together but separate the kids from the adults in the final standings and award points separately. Otherwise, I'm afraid kids, particularly new kids, might get discouraged.

It would be OK if the kids built and tuned their own cars.

Yeah, that's one of the challenges I was thinking of too. Cause I'm guilty too. I don't think of it so much as trying to even the playing field for the kids. Our kids will have an advantage and that's just the way it is. It's more about making it so the other kids don't have to compete against the adult cars and their kids cars too. They just need to compete against the kid cars. Anyways, this is just something to think about. It will probably be more relevant if adult league participation grows.
