Does anyone have a pic of the 56' long Best Track being used at the Mall of America for the Council race June 7th? Trying to figure out dimensions. Is it continuous arc, extension added to flat or slope, is the flat section completely level or is does slope slightly?

I'll do you one better ... video!!
If you want to skip the intro stuff, the racing starting around the 4 minute mark.
My understanding is that this track is level on the flat section. But Warren is the authority here.

That looks intimidating. I was told our district race was a 46' track supplied by Warren and the fastest time for the whole District I believe was in the 4.04xx range. Are you sure the track in the video is 56'.
Also, steep slope with sharp transition it looks like. Does an aggressive COM work best here?

Now that you are here you have the same "connections" as I do. Warren (aka Mr. Slick) runs this board and the council race.
The conventional wisdom from what I've read from successful racers on this track is that a less aggressive COM is better. That said, our best Council performing car (good for 2nd place in the Bears and 4th fastest overall) had about a 5/8 inch COM, which is quite aggressive.
Honestly, I think your rear alignment and axle/wheel prep will trump your COM, assuming your COM is in the typical 1" to 1/2" range.

Hey thanks Lightninboy for posting a link to our video! If I counted correctly, I think it's two sections longer than a 42' track, plus the extra stop section, would make it 56' + 40" = 59' 4" ~ call it 60 feet. And there is a gradual slope down on the straight, guessing it drops 8-10 inches over the length of the straight. Hope that helps.

Current Track info: Same track as the one at Chief Black Dog District race. The one at Prairie Lakes District race is the same dimensions. Basically it is a 42' plus two additional sections, plus a double length stop section. The entire track has a slope of 1.5" per 7 feet. This is to guarantee that all of the cars can make it to the end during the regular season. The best times on it are in the 3.82 range -- excluding my time of 3.72 seconds with a car that had been tuned for the track over several years. The OLD 6 lane tracks were made with the Beta-Craft plating on a wood frame and those came in 93" sections. When we had 8 sections plus the stopping area it was 64' long.
