I just noticed that in pure stock in May a lot of cars were .005 to .010 slower than they were the previous month. On average about .008 slower. car name | Ap ril | May | diff | Wild Child | 2.8758 | 2.8825 | 0.0067 | Rough Cut | 2.8793 | 2.8897 | 0.0104 | Twister #2 | 2.8798 | 2.8887 | 0.0089 | June Bug | 2.9193 | 2.9175 | -0.0018 | Sparklytacualr | 2.9280 | 2.9325 | 0.0045 | Plum Crazy | 2.9877 | 2.9937 | 0.0060 | Treble Clef | 2.9993 | 3.0183 | 0.0190 |

What environmental variables affect times like this? Are changes in weather, humidity, etc. enough? I'm just curious. I know I tweaked my own process in May just a tad to see if it would help, and I thought I had failed. Then I noticed this and now I'm not so sure.

We did notice that the humidity was up in May. By June we will be in the new location where the track will be set up permanently.
We will have our own heat/cooling, I'll see what I can get done about tracking the humidity to see if we need something.
