I wanted to let everyone know that I recently placed another large order for applicators. The response to them has been great and I want to keep them in stock. Also Spacewalkermodels will be stocking them too.

Can you explain what they are? I get too tempted when I visit the store. ;D

These are applicators for applying various bore polishes. These work great.

Steve - can you use these applicators instead of the fluffy pipecleaners in all instances? I've ruined one wheel bore too many with that danged sharp end and have built quite a collection of "to be used as raised wheel" stock!

I would not use these to polish bores, just use these to apply your polishes. I am working with someone else about sharing there idea for polishing. At this time I am still using pipe cleaners to polish, just be careful when inserting them into the bore.

You can buy electrical shrink tube that works great to cover the end of pipe cleaners so you don't mess your wheel bores up.

That also works.

ZZ thanks for the tip. The fluffy pipecleaners I bought from a vendor last year came with a small plastic tube you fit onto the end after removing some of the fluff but I lost the thing and never knew what it was called and didnt know if they were available in HD or Lowes. Have been trying to find it ever since.
