In the Limited/Pro-Stock set of races, heats 7 and 25 appear to have issues. It definitely looks like there was a problem with the timer. If we throw out these heats and average the cars times, they look like this: See Ya - 2.9533 avg Midnight Magic - 3.1003 avg Purple Machine - 3.0828 avg Jumper - 2.9449 avg Lucky - 3.0188 avg Magic Machine - 3.5517 avg We should recalculate the standings based on these new numbers. I'll see what I can do to get a copy of the database and get new pdf's posted. We will be checking into the issue and see what can be done to avoid this in the future. Sorry for the problems.

Scott and Warren,
I agree with dropping the times from heats 7 & 25. There was obviously a problem.
It will cost me a position, but fair is fair, and I think it is the correct thing to do.
Congratulations on a proper decision and a great race.
Phil

I have no problem with throwing out the questionable heats. The most important to be fair and right as previously stated and I totally agree. It could have easily been one of my cars involved in an obvious error. After all, it gets me a little more room to move up next month!! Congrats to all this past weekend.

Thanks Scott: Awesome job by Phil and Fred (as usual). If Maxx had been any closer, he'd have been in front of me. Great job. Looking forward to the next race on May 6th. By the way, for all the guys who helped me out by giving a play by play during the race (since I had no sound again) -- Thanks a million. I've scheduled a Geek Squad guy to be at my house on May 6th at 1:45 p.m. (just before the race), and I'm not letting him escape until I have sound. Great Racing. ProQuest/Steve H.

Congrats to all the winners this month and to everyone who took the time to make the race happen, Thank You !! I apologize that it took a couple days to congratulate everyone, I wasn't sure of exactly who placed where because of the dropped heat (I was having a blond moment). I hope to see some of you at the North Coast Open and if not I hope to see you all on the track next month in Minnesota !!
BTW Scott, I think dropping" Lemon Drop" worked to the good !!

Scott:
I want to follow Jim's lead and congratulate you on a great showing Sunday in winning the limited division (my hat's off to any limited that can out run PPE's Revenge), and equally impressive is the phenomenal job you and Warren do hosting this event and turning around the results and video so fast each month. Don't know how you do it. I also want to acknowledge Jim for compiling the points so quickly. Bottom line is PWDRacing is a first class operation, and Max (my son) and I are thrilled to be racing here.

Thanks for the congrats guys. I'll admit it feels pretty good amongst this bunch. I raced for a year and a half at WIRL and took 2nd a few times, but never a first. It would be even better if everyone had been running their best. A little puzzling why some cars ran better this month and some worse . Don't worry Jim, I am still going to work on squeezing a few more hundreths out of the lemon ;D I hope to be right there with you. Maybe sub 3, who knows... Steve, thanks for all the nice compliments - they are much appreciated.
