OK guys. We used to do this with the other league so let's hear what your thoughts are.
Pure Stock - Warthog will have a good showing. Stock - Wheeler & Slkrnsnt are tough. Mod - Since Barga is back I'd put my bet that he's got something up his sleeve. Hot Rod - Wheeler had his flying last month. Rookie - ? (you never know with this class who will enter that could just fly past everyone)

I think the guys who hold the records in all the classes are going to be hard to beat, because I think that every class has a legitimate record now.
I will agree with Jim there will probably be some serious challengers that might even win. That's what makes it exciting.
Hopefully we will start getting some new guys now that the Boy Scout, AWANA, etc races are winding down.
I didn't make any changes to mine that should change their times significantly, so I'm hoping for times about the same as last month, maybe a hair better, but not enough to win.
Good luck to everybody!!
Phil

QUESTION: Will we see a pure stocker go under 3.0? ;D I think we will have a Pure Stocker (Limited Stocker) have a run under 3.0000, but I'll be surprised (pleasantly) if they average under 3.0000 for 6 runs. I'll be rooting for it though. Go For it!!! Phil

I predict that I won't win anything. In fact my cars will not even be there. I had intended to send Hotrod back along with a pure stock. Did not get the time to retune hotrod or align stocker. Holding mod back in case we make it to Lucky's race. Also helping kids with a couple new mods to take to Lucky's race (if we make it). Also need to find time to finish wheels for my pro stock car. Good luck to all this month, hate that mine won't be there.

I'll be racing but haven't had time to do anything to them. . . so I'll probably not do too well. Next month will be a different matter! I have 2 Sunday afternoon workshops left this year and I don't expect lots of builders so I should have some time to work on my cars.
My final races are 11th, 13th-14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 28th. - - - a few races but lots of cars, should have 450 to 500 cars which means there are only 600 or so heats left to run this year!
May is the "Need For Speed" class again, 5/17, 5/24, and 5/31. The finals race is on 5/31 and it will be another "Open" race. Last year Warthog destroyed my track record thus allowing me to start racing again. ;D

As far as Predictions go; Rookie - ProQuest will be tough again this month. Maxx may push him a bit. Limited Division- BJ's racing will likely be pushing the 3 sec barrier. So far Lemon Drop has not tested to well -I have a couple more things to try to get it running better. Pro-Stock -Wheeler will be tough to beat. Slk and BJ could be up to the challenge though Modified - Wheeler is the favorite here. Hot Rod 66 - Wheeler and SLK will be close. Me and my boys hope to have 3 cars ready for the Mr. Slick's District Race - Speeder II has been upgraded to a modified and Dune Buggy had tune-up. I also hope to have Dum Dum ready to go- upgraded to a modified. ;D

Hello All, Daniel(WOW Racing) and I shipped "LICH" out this morning for rookie. We were hoping to get hot on Proquest's heels, but it seems we ran into some tech difficulties(had a little prob with wheels) so we had to rush prep a set of wheels last night. The only treatment they got was on the wheel bores .But there is always next month,we will start giving a set of wheels a little TLC this weekend ;D.
