Just wondering has any1 experimented w/ tungsten disulified, is it a waste of money?? When I was at the expo I heard it was any other opinion?
Never used it myself. I have heard it's not as good as graphite. There used to be a thread on the Derbyworx board discussing it.
MaxV did a Product review on one brand in his October 2006 newsletter. He indicated he had also tried another brand earlier and found performance using WS2 to be inferior to graphite.
Of all the results I've heard on the subject, it's been thumbs down for WS2.
That being said, new stuff (i.e. new brands and new blends) seem to come out every year, if you could buy it fairly cheap it might be worth a test. Given the history thus far, we wouldn't spend any significant bucks on it.

Yes I did make it, there were only like 2-4 kids playing w/ a few prebuilt cars ....I was expecting more from it. I talked to Bill the way he talked next yr there might be a better origanized or announed race. However he did have trophys at the expo anticipating like there would have been more interest < my opinion> But in all it was GREAt!
I just got back the 17th from orlando a HUGE covention IAAPA, 4 days of attending I still wish I could have had more time... I did end up buying a air brush package for tatoos , but is universal to other paints
