On a feather lite car or extreme car, can you have the outside part of the wheel enclosed for aerodynamics purposes? If the wheel has to be in full view can you use a clear plastic to cover it? Don't ask what I'm up to! Probably failure...but you have to start some where!

I think the way the rules read that would be acceptable? I won't ask what you are up to! LOL

Cutter Racing, In both divisions, the only wheel restriction is that the wheel not be made of something that could/can damage the track. So, as long as you can tell that, you are good to go with having the outside of the wheel enclosed. steepslope

The Featherlite rules are the exact same rules as Extreme Pro-Modified, except for the 2 ounce weight limit in Featherlite. Good Luck with your idea !! Lucky 13

i have one built and ready. need to tune a little. was amazing on the speed that car had. may attempt a different one though. 1 more week then i will have more time to concentrate on really building some very fast (faster) cars. someone has to bring up the rear. lol. not for long. learning tricks on my own. as far as what works for me.

I have a featherlite in the works and have run it for time but I have no idea what it will take to be competitive. Have there been other leagues that have raced these light weights?

I have attached the heat results of our Featherlite Division we ran last year. It should be noted, our track is a Piantedosi/MicroWizard track. Distance, I believe, is 41' 7/8 from pin to timer. steepslopeAttachments:
