Hey Mood. I think the the "N" in SSN stands for "needle." If you are looking for the big axle version of the same wheel, I think that one is called the SS. If Maximum Velocity doesn't stock it, I'll bet they can get it for you. In my experience, turn around on special orders is usually less than a week. Hope this helps.

Scratch that The Derbyworx web site shows the SSN wheels in white. I would contact Bill and maybe he can get them for you. I will PM you his contact info if you need it. ;D

Pinewood Extreme has them, but just not in stock. They are listed under the black ssn wheels. i have been in contact with them about these wheels. not to mention they are local i am also in communicado with Randy out at MaxV. worse comes to worse, i need to contact Pitsco for some new stuff as well. their delrin comes in handy for making hub inserts and or axle hole inserts much more "true" hole with the delrin then in the stock holes in most wheels.

i just spoke with Bill Wittke at pinewood extreme, he says that the SSN wheel in black and white were never officially released to the vendors.
if they are a real creature, then more then likely the other bill has them.

Mood, We have always had SSN's in white available, they just haven't been as popular as the other white wheels so they are not stocked by everyone in white. There is even a fresh batch on the production schedule this week. Just twist your favorite vendors arm a little, they will get them to ya, I will even drop ship them. Oh by the way; Bill Wittke of Pinewood Extreme's response was incorrect because they have been available to all of the distributors since day one, BUT they are NOW no longer available to Pinewood Extreme. Any Derby Worx product left on Pinewood Extreme's site is from last year. Let me know if we can help. Race Fast Racer X
