Hello.. I have been looking around this forum for awhile and decided to register.I named the thread "Same Story" because like a lot of you My son and I got the PWD fever during scouts ;D.. Now he is crossing over and we want to continue racing. We are kind of late for the season start but I think we might take the plunge with a scout car we built together. This is until we understand all what goes into a professional car. We are still not sure if we are ready for this level..So we will probably be asking a lot of questions if that O.K. ;D Thanks for listening.. G2 Garage

Your story definitely sounds familiar !! You are only a little late for the first part of the season but, PWDR has a new format this year that breaks the season down into 2 Qualifier Series and a Championship Race at the end of the year. In June the points will reset and we start all over again for the second series. You could use the next few months to get your feet wet and then be ready to go the second half of the season. Here is a link to see how it all works... pwdracing.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=proxyracing&action=display&thread=2347If you have any questions, Please feel free to post them. Lucky 13
