Just wanted to let everyone know that my oldest son Seth won his rank (wolf) and won Pack Champ today ;D !! Needless to say he's smiling from ear to ear (so am I). His car went undefeated all day. He will be racing in the District Championship race next weekend. I will try to post pictures later, I think my wife somehow accidental erased the actual pictures from the race . I'm hoping they ended up somewhere else on our computer, but, so far no luck finding them?? Lucky 13

if you are running Windows on your computer whatever get deleted goes to the trash bin. You can open this up, it should be on your desktop and restore to the original location. This is unless she "emptied the trash."
Congeats to your team for the win and good luck at Districts.

Fantastic job!!! Is he going to change anything for districts or seal it in an air tight container? Glad you got the photos back. Couldn't do that in the old days if you opened the back of the camera and expose the film. Isn't digital nice! Congratulations Seth!

We are just going to give it a re-lube and pack it away until next weekend. The car ran really good, so I figure I better keep my hands off of it. I actually broke his first car I posted on here, so we built an almost exact replica. Thanks for all the kind words guys, I am very happy for Seth !! I know if it wasn't for the help and advice from some of the people that post here this may not have been possible. Thank You !! Lucky 13

Bob and Seth, Great Job! That is one nice looking trophy. Robbie won pack twice, district twice, and council once and I don't think he ever got a trophy that big for any of them. Let us know how districts go.

Bob:
Awesome job. Congrats to you and Seth. My son graduated from Cub Scouts last month, so I know what you mean about hating to see the Derby season end. But like you, we're looking forward to lots of Pinewood derby in the future through proxy racing. I assume you'll be sending cars to PWD for the April race. Is that right? As for me, I'm sticking with rookie for a bit longer. Again, way to go.

Thanks for the compliments guys. We don't have a Council race, District is the end of the road. Next year my youngest son will be a tiger scout and my oldest a bear, so we have several years of BSA racing left.We will definitely be sending some cars in for the April Proxy. We also have the North Coast Open in April. Looks to be another busy month of racing ;D. I love it !!!
