Could someone tell tell me what a fast time would be on a 25 foot wood track.

Any time less then a second would be FAST! On a more serious reply, we see 2.4 seconds on a 35 foot aluminum track, 2.9 on a 42 foot aluminum, and 3.9 on a 56 foot aluminum track. Wood tracks are usually slower then the aluminum due to surface roughness. Unless they are very well constructed(like the Freedom series) and maintained, the rails on the wood tracks tend to become very bumpy. Someone should have times from their wooden tracks. . . .

At districts we run on a 4 sections of 8 foot wooden track with say minus 1 foot for starting and 1 foot for finish 30 feet for racing a lap of 2.42 we were the fastest out of 265 cars ran like 178 out of 211 at BGN so it's not how fast you are but how fast is your competition
