I sent in one today for the stock class. Just one this month... After I figure out what I'm doing... I'll probably send more each month. :-*Steve

We've got 2 regular stock and one mod coming. I couldn't get anything else tuned well enough to race + my scroll saw is out of order I have to say though, I was proud of myself for making it to the post office on Monday instead of Friday After I paid at the counter and handed the lady my box of cars, she took it and tossed about 6' into a bin. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry Looking forward to getting back on the track with you guys and meeting some new racers also. good luck everyone!

So far, only Lucky13's box has shown up. I'm thinking I should send back some additional labels/stickers this month to get the year started. What is needed/desired? - PwdRacing Address Labels
- Red FRAGILE stickers - especially Sappington
- something else?

Unfortunately we're not going to be able to participate in the February race. I start a new job 600 miles away in two weeks, my kids derby, which I'm running, is in three weeks, and I just held a workshop this weekend with 20 cubs over at the house building cars! In the mean time I've been scrambling to get projects done around the house so we can try to get it put up for sale! It really looks like I won't be able to get back to getting cars on the track until sometime in July!!! I may not be on the track, but I'll be with you in spirit and will try to join in on the races when I can! This is gonna be a hard one on momma and the kids so we'd appreciate your prayers! Steve 3CubDad Steve, Having been through the same thing not that long ago !! I know how you and your family are feeling about right now !! It's all still very fresh in my mind. I wish you and your family the best and hope all works out well for you. Hopefully you get settled in and we see you again in time for the BGN !! You will be in my thoughts and prayers !! Good luck with the new job and keep us updated as you can. Lucky 13

Put a box in the mail this morning also. It was a frantic deal last night just trying to put cars in the box.
Will probably miss the race conference.
Good luck everyone

Bob,
Well, that is a reply --although-- I'm not sure about the "witty" part...
If you do beat me to the finish-line, I've already given you some of my excuses. ;D
However, I do have some left, and I'm not afraid to use them!
David
P.S. Good luck to everyone...

Steve 3CubDad Steve, we'll definitely be keeping you and your whole family in our prayers! I hope you'll still be able to make it to the Bluegrass race? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed myself lately, and unfortunately Max and I will not be able to make it to the race this weekend for reasons similar to Steve's. I started a new job on Monday, a whole new career/industry actually, so I've got a lot of learning/retooling to do, and time has been in short supply lately. To further complicate matters, I was diagnosed with a torn ACL ligament in my knee yesterday so I'm temporarily a bit limited in my mobility. I'm still wrapping up loose ends with my old job this week and next, so I'm pretty much pulling double duty right now/working 12+ hour days and on weekends. Moving into/setting up my new office on Saturday; otherwise I'm sure I could get away for a few hours to help run the race. Hopefully life will calm down somewhat within the next couple of months and we'll be back with the program. Warren, I'm sorry we won't be there to help out (hopefully Mayhem Miller can assist). We'll miss you guys, but we'll be back soon! Steve (and Max)

We'll miss you!
(Actually guys, I think Slow Steve heard that we have to carry the track up to the 12th floor and he "injured" his ACL just to get out of the set-up! ;D)
We'll miss you and Max. Get well and good luck with the dueling jobs!
Anyway - here are today's zip codes:
30563 - JA 46124 - Q 53515 - JW 07760 - BA 06040 - LE 44053 - DS 75762 - SR
that's all for now. I'll be opening the boxes tomorrow.
