Extra Special Thanks to Poppa Woody (Brian) for helping out today!
He was extremely helpful in installing the lift kit and the leveling system from BestTrack! He even climbed up and was the stager and starter!
I had enough energy left over to get the results out and the videos transferred, cut and posted!
Thanks Poppa Woody!!!!

Great work Warren. And special thanks to Pappa Woody. His staging was awesome. The two of you make a great team.
Brian, what will it take to make you a permanent part of the monthly race???
Warren, I really appreciate you posting the results and video so quickly.
Thanks for everything.

Is this a new track, or did Wasabi really pick up that much time from last month? Wow, congrats Steve!

Hey Jim:
Same track as last month, but a better set up this month. The track was set up with levelers. Times were faster and more consistent. Hope you can take part next month.

Thanks guys for another great day of racin'. And special thanks to Pappa Woody for helpin' out.
We wish we could have run better.
We've been applying the "Quest methodology" to Merlin and it seems to be working. However, additional implementation is necessary.
We'll be back

Thank you Warren! My son and I had a great time and you made the whole experience very fun! We obviously have some homework to do but were very happy with our first car.

Warren/Brian, I want to second what all the other guys have said about the job you guys did yesterday. The track and times were great, and the races were ran quickly and very organized. I couldn't believe how fast you were getting the heats set up and ran, I am sure that Brian helped accomplish this. Is there a way we can draft Brian as a permanent volunteer? Congratulations to all racers. Phil

What a great production guys!! Thanks a bunch. Congrats to all racers and the special guest stager. If the races are going to be run this smoothly and quickly every month, maybe we can even seperate the heats by class i.e. all stocks, then all pro-stocks etc.
Thanks again Warren, please check your pm's from last week.

...I am looking for the "Perfect Explanation" for the situation where the K-3 Timer displays the same time for two cars (to 4 signifigant digits) and then the computer displays differetn timed for the two cars (to 4 signifigant digits). . . . . two examples in the videos from today! Warren: Haven't seen the videos, but a good guess would be that one of the devices simply truncates at 4 significant digits while the other rounds to 4 significant digits i.e. 2.9876 truncated to 4 sig figs is 2.987 - the 6 is just dropped, 2.9876 rounded to 4 sig figs is 2.988 - 7 is rounded up to 8 since the next digit is a 6. This would only occur half the time, when the 5th sig fig was a 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9. If you check GPRM I thought it stored the values beyond the 4th sig fig, but would round when it displays depending on settings. The fifth digit in the results pages for this month's heats is always a zero, but I thought the K3 sent times with 5 sig figs. You would have to confirm with Randy. BTW Very Nice job with the races, results, videos, etc.! Bubba
