I got an e-mail from Warren, the Feb. results should be posted late tonight or early tomorrow morning. Sorry for the delay, as most of you know Warren is VERY involved in Pinewood Derby racing and workshops for the kids. His schedule during the first few months of the year is packed because of all his commitments which is the reason he is behind schedule posting the League race results. I hope everyone understands.
He also said that all the cars have been shipped back (or to WIRL), so they should start arriving soon.
How does everyone like the shipping labels he sent out ?
Thanks for your patience,
Lucky 13

Not even close to being competitive.... oh well. Hang in there, lots of help around here. BTW I was looking over the results and was reminded of my little "riches to rags" story with my first ever Pro-Mod Disclosure. When I finally logged back into the video Saturday, I almost fell out of my chair when Disclosure nudged past Pro-Quest's Senpai up on my screen. "It's a fluke", I thought. "Somehow I got it aligned just right. I've stumbled across a new secret strategy!" It wasn't until the end of the race when the results were posted on the screen that my "secret strategy" became apparent - Senpai is a big axle Mod, Disclosure is an needle axle Pro-Mod. I forgot Warren runs those classes together. Oh well... Bubba p.s. but I was #1 in the Pro-Mod class! (out of a field of 1, that is. It's either first place or last place, depending how you look at it...).

Not even close to being competitive.... oh well. You'll get better every month. Keep tweaking your car or build a new one. The more you build the better you get.

p.s. but I was #1 in the Pro-Mod class! (out of a field of 1, that is. It's either first place or last place, depending how you look at it...). Lets call it a 1st just like in the F.R.E.D. class. Nice job Bubba. Doc B, what a great stocker. If you entered it into Pro Stock as well, you would be shredding up that class too. Congrats to B&B in HR66, Steve in Limited & Tory in Mod. Great job to all the racers. Good turnout in F.R.E.D. as well. Take care everybody.

Hey Warren/Lucky: When you post the results would it be possible to separate out the divisions that are co-mingled? I.e., Novice/Limited; Stock/Pro-Stock/HR66; Mod/Pro-Mod. It would be a lot easier for us to see where we finished. Just a thought. Congrats to all the racers. Special congrats to Bubba as the first ever FRED division champion -- he kicked . . . well, you know what he kicked; and to Tory for setting a new record in Mod on a track that seemed to be slower this month than last month (or was it just my cars ). Also, special congrats to Sappington for the win in Novice, docb for dominating the Stock class (again); B&B for his winning debut in HR66 -- that car was no Joke(r) (some one stop me before I hurt myself), and DaPine for the win in Pro-Stock. I also want to welcome LASound -- Great job in Limited. For those of you who don't know John (LASound) he is new to PWDR, but he is a seasoned racer who will up the competition in any division he enters. Also, welcome to Hobbytalk, who is also new to PWDR and correct me if I am wrong, new to pinewood derby. Great looking car. Hobbytalk, there are loads of experts here who will be tickled to help you go faster, and from the looks of your car that won't take long. Talk to you soon, ProQuest/Steve H.

Steve, If you click on the X that is listed under "Den"(?), it will give you the breakdown of each separate division !! or, just click this link www.pwdracing.com/results2008/pwdrl200802_sgs.pdfI want to apologize to DocB, I inadvertently missed that "Humerus" had set a new single run record in Stock Division (way to go DocB !!). The new single run record is 2.945 !! I am sorry about that !! I will get it taken care of right away !! Lucky 13
