Hi everyone. I'm new to this board and am looking forward to getting to know the racers. I've done some league racing before, but time has been a factor lately. All of our recent efforts have been focused on scout races. When we get past this, I'd like to take a run at racing a couple of cars in 2011 and see how we do. We will probably race a couple of leagues to get as much track time as possible, practice, practice, practice... Thanks for having us.

Lucky,
Thanks. I do have a quick question about the track used at PWDR. What is the measured (timed) length of the track?
Thanks,
R66R

Lucky, Thanks. I do have a quick question about the track used at PWDR. What is the measured (timed) length of the track? Thanks, R66R We use the first set of timer holes on the Best Track, so the timed distance from pin to timer is 36.77'. Lucky 13

just wanted to take a moment and say hello from central Iowa. I've been lurking around these sites for quite a while and decided to step up and join in. We have been helping with AWANA for over 26 years now and have learned alot about racing pine. This was my son's first year however racing in the outlaw division in our local boy scouts. To watch him with a soldering gun and scroll saw brought home a lot of great memories this year. Our family, team b, brought home 4 trophies this year from the awana grand prix and Daniel took 1st in the outlaw race. Sorry get to rambling. have learned a lot lurking here but have some new ideas to share as time permits also.. so in short, howdy!
