After many e-mails and PM's about the bearing wheels, I thought it was time to add info and pictures here for all to see. Currently I am using the Derby Worx RS or RS-X wheels. I would like to give a big Thank you to Bill at Derby worx for helping me with product, and also to Andy Lester who has been testing and racing with the wheels for some time now. There are a ton of different ways to make a set of bearing wheels but the hot set-up seems to be either the RS or RS-X machined with .0469" bearings. Then I machine custom axles that are .088" diameter(same as your speed axles) and then inserted with a .0469" blank to accept the bearings. By doing the axles in a 2-piece step down design it allows racers to use the bearing wheels on cars that a already drilled for standard axles. The bearing wheels are pretty expensive but the Extreme Pro-Mod class is the fastest PWD cars out there. The class is growing and now everyone can easily have a bearing car ready on race day with the addition of the Goat Boy/Derby Worx bearing wheels.

This picture shows a set of RS-X wheels that have been machined to house bearings and also a set of the Goat Boy custom 2 piece axles. This set of axles I used brass rod for the bearings to ride on. The brass is strong enough and allows steer adjustments with ease. Every set of of Wheels comes with a custom machined tool to make steering adjustments a snap!
This picture is the same as above but just showing that I can do custom colors as well. I do the standard black and white and have custom colored orange, red, pink, blue and yellow.
Added this pic to show yet another color. I enjoy the colored wheels to dress up my cars
This picture shows the bearing wheels on the custom axles. I also included a pic of both style axles available. There is the standard length and I also do a single "rod style" axle that is inserted with the .0469" brass. Finally there is the custom tool that I include that helps for adjusting steer. This tool allows you to bend the axles straight. If the axle is bent with pliers or other method you could actually damage the axle and the bearings will not work as intended. I would never bend my axles with anything else!
Finally, this is just a picture to show how your wheels will be packaged. I have made some custom foam carriers to protect your investment during shipping. Your wheels will come to you already assembled. All you have to do is slide them into the car and your ready for the Extreme Pro-Mod class!
